Bully Free West Virginia
WV Bully-Free was launched in July 2011 by Fairness West Virginia-the statewide LGBT civil rights advocacy organization-and the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of West Virginia.

Bullying Awareness Week
Bullying Awareness Week is an opportunity for people at the grassroots level in communities around the world to get involved in this issue, not by waiting for "Someone else" to do something, but rather for us to work together on preventing bullying in our communities through education and awareness.

College Foundation of West Virginia
This organization's website will give you helpful information on career planning, high school planning, college planning, financial aid, and other topics to help prepare for higher education-- and it is designed specifically for West Virginia students! CTMS students will create their personal CFWV account while in middle school. We use resources from this site to help with career awareness, high school preparedness and college readiness. The personal pages will remain active and useful throughout high school.

Health Sciences and Technology Academy (HISTA)

The Health Sciences and Technology Academy (HISTA) is now accepting applications for their program. Current 8th grade students are eligible to apply. Students who are selected and complete this program qualify for academic scholarship to West Virginia University. Applicants should be interested in the fields of health, science or technology and preference is given to students who are of racial or ethnic minorities, economically disadvantaged students and/or first generation college attendees.

Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth

Opportunity for outstanding academic students in grades 2-8. At CTMS, 7th graders with a score of Distinguished in math and/or language arts on the most recent WESTEST are nominated by our school to apply. Other students can self nominate and apply directly by visiting the JHCTY website.
