Charles Town Middle School Item Pickup and Drop-Off Procedures
June 10-11, 2020

Charles Town Middle School will hold item pickup and drop offs as scheduled for June 10-11.  We are asking that all students return all instructional materials they have in their possession including library books, textbooks, teacher novels, etc.

Students who have personal items in regular and/or gym lockers, instruments they need to return, or who purchased a yearbook may do so on the following designated times:

Wednesday, June 10: 8:30 - 11 a.m. 6th grade and 12  2:30 p.m. 7th grade

Thursday, June 11: 8:30 - 11 a.m. 8th grade and 12  2:30 p.m. Make-up

For access to Personal Belongings from Lockers/Gym Lockers, Item Return, and Yearbook Distribution:

· In order to make this quick and safe, we ask that parents tape a sign on their passenger side door with the following information

-Student Last Name, First Name

-Grade Level

· Drive through the Bus Loop (Main Office Entrance)

· A staff member will be near the door and upon your arrival will collect any items you have to return, such as text books, teacher novels, library books, band instrument (if not doing band at CTMS next year), etc. A staff member will then retrieve your student’s belongings and yearbook if purchased.

· Please do not exit your vehicle.  We will have a waiting zone for you to park to wait on your student’s belongings.

· Staff members will be wearing PPE (masks and gloves). These are not required for those picking up, but masks are recommended.

· Students who are not taking band next year at CTMS and have a school instrument may return the instrument during this time.

· If you have a personal, backup instrument at CTMS and would like to retrieve it, please contact Mrs. Allen, rvallen@k12.wv.us
